Sandbox

APIX Sandbox is a collaborative Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that simulates the characteristics of a bank-grade production environment. It allows developers to plug their API codes with other APIs from APIX Marketplace to create innovative solutions for the financial services industry. The Sandbox also offers an interface to a live Core banking application and an ability to import or export data via external sources like GitHub.

FreeFlow Identity
FreeFlow Finance

## Overview FreeFlow Finance is the world’s first commercial-ready digital currency interoperability infrastructure company focused on retail cross-border payments, remittance, trade transactions, and digital commerce. FreeFlow enables seamless integration with regulated stablecoins and central bank digital currencies through our cross-platform digital currency clearing and settlement and on-chain FX liquidity provision capabilities, powered by our institutional grade, vertically integrated and regulatory compliant, universal payment single-window API platform. FreeFlow identity is the basic of the system, it consists of two components: 1) Account and 2) Wallet. To use the services of FreeFlow, users should register an account at first and apply their CBDC wallets.  ## Modules FreeFlow is a high-performance distributed system developed in Java. Modular development has been implemented to increase the flexibility of the system. Thus, features are separated into micro-services. It also improves the robustness and scalability for the system. Therefore, the APIs are created in modules.  It is important to note that FreeFlow is a system that is already in operation. Considering the competition requirements and business risks, the API submitted here is a subsystem extracted from the actual business system and reconstructed according to the competition rules and our solution design. The subsystem consists of three modules: identity, transaction, and exchange. 1\. Account The Account module is responsible for the management of digital identities. Its main functions are the creation, login, modification, and deletion of digital identities. Users can apply for a FreeFlow digital identity in the module and then use the registered identity to access the various features of FreeFlow. 2\. Wallet The wallet module is responsible for the management of CBDC wallets. Its primary functions include applying wallets of CBDCs to each partner country; deposits; blocks; transfers; and exchanges between different CBDCs. Using the FreeFlow digital identity, users can apply for CBDC wallets of each partner country in this module, deposit CBDC, and then use them for domestic transfers by CBDC or international transfers by CBDC exchange.

Mastercard CBDC - Final
Mastercard

The Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) has been developed by Mastercard to support central banks and governments in exploring digital currency concepts. It enables developers to create the artifacts of typical use cases including commercial bank customers (created during onboarding) and the wallets associated with those customers. Funding of wallets with CBDC and transfers between customers’ wallets, among other functions are also supported by the API. The CBDC platform leverages the Mastercard blockchain to record and validate transactions. A network of nodes cooperates to provide a global ledger of immutable transactions while maintaining the privacy of the participants. The CBDC APIs enables the on-boarding and interaction of commercial bank customers transacting in CBDC Platform. Here is how it works: 1. The central bank issue digital currency and distributes it to the commercial banks. (This operation is controlled by Mastercard) 2. A commercial bank customer is onboarded by the bank following the necessary checks such as [**KYC**](https://www.investopedia.com/terms/k/knowyourclient.asp). 3. The commercial bank customer creates a wallet user of the commercial bank and accessible through the API. 4. The commercial bank customer purchases CBDC from the bank to fund their wallet. 5. The commercial bank customer transfers CBDC from their wallet to another wallet held by a customer of the same bank or another wallet provider.
