Pruthvi Shetty

Hi, I'm Pruthvi. I'm originally from India (born and raised in Bangalore) and currently live and work in the San Francisco Bay Area. I work as a Staff Data Scientist with Twilio’s GTM Data Science team. In my previous role at Anywhere RE, I worked on building ML solutions for the real estate tech space. I was primarily involved as a model owner for several models being introduced in the line of products from Anywhere RE’s Tech & Data org. During my earlier role at SAP, I picked up the ropes of leveraging Machine Learning in the B2B space. I enjoy working on core Data Science aspects, as well as handling the associated MLOps & engineering challenges. Outside of work, I enjoy quizzing/trivia and teaching (having been an Associate Instructor in Grad School). I am also involved in mentoring undergrad students from my alma mater, and am an occasional guest speaker at meetups/events in the Bay Area, mostly discussing topics related to ML and Data Science.
