
APIX and DRC Fintech Association Partner to Strengthen Pan-African Fintech Collaboration
Connecting the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s fintech innovators with global opportunities through the APIX innovation ecosystem
APIX and the DRC Fintech Association (Fintech243) have partnered to expand cross-border collaboration for the DRC’s fintech community linking startups, developers, and technology providers with banks, regulators, and multilaterals worldwide. DRCFA serves as the country’s leading fintech industry body, dedicated to advancing financial inclusion, innovation, and policy dialogue to strengthen the digital-finance ecosystem across Central Africa.
Through this partnership, DRCFA members will gain access to APIX-hosted hackathons and innovation challenges, accelerate proof-of-concept development in the secure APIX sandbox, and showcase their solutions to a global network of financial institutions. APIX currently enables collaboration with over 100 financial institutions and 2,100+ fintechs across 90+ countries, creating a direct path from discovery to deployment.
The collaboration will also highlight fintech innovation from the Democratic Republic of the Congo through APIX’s marketing channels, including its Fintech Pulse program, while amplifying DRCFA’s mission to build a vibrant and inclusive fintech ecosystem that empowers entrepreneurs and drives digital transformation across the region.
Together, APIX and DRCFA aim to strengthen the bridge between African fintechs and global markets enabling cross-border partnerships, regulatory collaboration, and scalable innovation.
