APIX and AzFina Forge Partnership to Advance Azerbaijan's Fintech Sector
Building bridges between Azerbaijan's fintech innovators and the global financial industry.
APIX and Azfina, the Fintech Association of Azerbaijan, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to deepen cooperation and open new pathways for Azerbaijani fintech companies to engage with banks, regulators, and international institutions. Azfina serves as the unified voice of Azerbaijan's fintech community, championing industry growth, knowledge exchange, and a modern regulatory environment that supports responsible innovation.
Through this new agreement, fintech startups and technology companies based in Azerbaijan will gain access to the APIX network, which spans more than 100 financial institutions and over 2,100 fintechs across upwards of 100 countries. Members will be able to join a global marketplace of Fis and innovators, compete in innovation challenges and hackathons from all around the world, build and test proof of concept solutions within APIX's secure sandbox environment, and present their work to global decision makers.
As a Singapore headquartered platform, APIX also brings Azerbaijan closer to one of the world's leading innovation hubs. AzFina members will be able to draw on lessons and best practices from Singapore's mature fintech ecosystem, while showcasing Azerbaijani solutions to a wider international audience. This exchange reflects a broader ambition shared by both organizations, one that looks beyond any single market and toward a truly global network of collaboration, where ideas, capital, and talent can move freely between regions.
