APIX and Fintech Association of Japan (FAJ) Renews Partnership to Accelerate Cross-Border FI-Fintech Collaboration
APIX is proud to announce the renewal of its partnership with the Fintech Association of Japan (FAJ), a leading voice for fintech in the Asia Pacific region. Together, APIX and FAJ will continue to unlock global collaboration opportunities for Japan’s fintech community.
FAJ plays a pivotal role in advancing open innovation, connecting domestic and international stakeholders to strengthen Japan’s fintech ecosystem. Through this partnership, Japanese innovators can tap into the APIX network of more than 100 financial institutions and 2,100 fintechs across 90 countries to join global hackathons and innovation challenges, experiment securely through sandbox proof-of-concepts, and showcase solutions directly to decision-makers worldwide.
This collaboration further supports FAJ’s mission to expand international opportunities for its members while deepening ties with associations, regulators, and partners such as the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). By bridging Japan’s fintech ecosystem with the rest of the world, FAJ members gain greater access to new markets and networks.
What FAJ members can expect:

About the Fintech Association of Japan (FAJ)
FAJ began activities in 2014 and was formally established on 24 September 2015. Its mission is to promote open innovation in Japan’s fintech industry through networking, working groups, research, and collaboration with domestic and international organizations.
