Platform Features
What features are included in the White Label Innovation Platform?
The platform includes an API and fintech marketplace, a secure sandbox for building and testing proofs of concept, a hackathon management suite, a custom branded marketing site with an intuitive Content Management System (CMS), hosting under your own URL as a managed service, and bespoke cloud deployment with dedicated support.
Can I run hackathons and innovation challenges on my white label platform?
Yes. The white label innovation platform includes a complete hackathon management suite. You can add problem statements, onboard team members and judges, evaluate submissions and track progress from a single intuitive interface. Technical challenges with coding elements are supported through the secure digital sandbox, which supports various programming languages.
Does the platform include an API marketplace?
Yes. You can publish your suite of API endpoints so that fintechs and startups can experiment and build solutions with them. Your internal teams can also browse the APIs and product suites of participating fintechs to assess their technical capabilities before entering a partnership.
What is the secure sandbox and how does it work?
The secure digital sandbox is an isolated development environment where participants can build and test proofs of concept using your APIs and synthetic datasets without touching production systems. It supports technical challenges with coding elements in various programming languages, allowing teams to experiment fearlessly while your data and infrastructure remain safe.
Can I customise the branding and content of the platform?
Yes. The platform will be branded as your own, including your URL and visual identity. It also comes with a customisable marketing site and a Content Management System (CMS) that allows your marketing team to make periodic content updates without technical support.
Deployment, Hosting and Security
Who hosts and manages the white label platform?
APIX hosts and manages the entire platform for you as a managed service. Your institution keeps full ownership of the innovation journey, branding and ecosystem curation, while APIX takes care of infrastructure, uptime and all technical complexities.
Can the platform meet local data residency and regulatory requirements?
Yes. APIX offers bespoke cloud deployment with dedicated support, designed to meet local regulatory, data privacy, data sovereignty, security and operational requirements. This makes the platform suitable for financial institutions, central banks and regulators operating under strict jurisdictional rules.
Is my platform data separate from the main APIX platform?
Yes. Each white label deployment is an independently hosted instance with its own database. Your data, participants and content are exclusive to your platform and are not shared with the global APIX ecosystem unless you choose to do so.
Can the platform follow our internal governance and technical standards?
Yes. The platform's governance framework, technical standards and taxonomy are built according to industry best practices and adapted to your institution's specific standards and needs.
General
What is a white label innovation platform?
A white label innovation platform is a fully branded digital platform that enables an organisation to engage, evaluate and collaborate with fintechs and startups under its own brand name and URL. The APIX White Label Innovation Platform provides all the features of the APIX platform, including an API marketplace, a secure digital sandbox and a hackathon management suite, deployed exclusively for your institution and managed by APIX.
Who is the APIX White Label Innovation Platform designed for?
The platform is designed for any organisation that wants to run a branded innovation ecosystem, and it serves three main groups.
Financial institutions such as banks and insurers use it to source and engage fintechs and startups from across the world, solve business challenges through their own dedicated innovation hub, and build a culture of innovation that connects internal departments with external innovators.
Central banks and regulators deploy it at a national level to develop local fintech talent, drive collaboration across the financial sector, and consolidate all national innovation initiatives, challenges and hackathons under one central hub.
Startup ecosystems and accelerators use it to encourage mutual discovery among members, foster partnerships, and harness the collective capabilities of an entire ecosystem to solve larger challenges.
How is a white label platform different from using the main APIX platform?
The white label option gives you an independently hosted, dedicated version of the APIX platform. It runs under your own URL, uses an independent database, carries your branding, and includes only the functionality, use cases, participants, products and APIs that you choose to curate. Crucially, you own the ecosystem: the fintechs, startups and partners on the platform are part of your dedicated innovation community, and every relationship built there belongs to your institution. It also acts as a single unit for your entire organisation, centralising all innovation initiatives and fintech engagement across departments and group companies under one hub. The main APIX platform is a shared global ecosystem, while the white label platform is exclusively yours.
Why should an institution choose a white label platform instead of building its own?
Building an innovation platform from scratch in house requires significant time, engineering resources and ongoing maintenance. With the APIX White Label Innovation Platform, you launch on proven infrastructure that already supports an API marketplace, sandbox environments, and hackathon management workflows. APIX handles all technical complexities as a managed service, so your team can focus on driving innovation outcomes rather than running infrastructure.
Which organisations have worked with APIX?
APIX has supported innovation programmes for organisations including Swift, NPCI, Prudential Singapore, Citi, Emirates NBD, TymeBank, Cantilan Bank and the Monetary Authority of Singapore. You can explore detailed results on our Success Stories page.
